  • Game 3 Gamethread: Wild vs. Stars (8:30 p.m.)

Oh boy. We're going to be spending our Friday night this week in peak anxiety because it is Game 3 and our beloved Minnesota Wild are back home facing the Dallas Stars with the series tied 1-1.

It is the postseason so we have zero clue who is fully healthy and who is not, but for what it is worth, Ryan Hartman looks to have participating in the morning skate enough for him to make a return after his one-game absence. Joel Eriksson Ek is still making his way back and his return would mean so much that head coach Dean Evason isn't letting anyone know what is going on there.

Other than that, John Klingberg will make his Wild playoff debut and Filip Gustavsson is (thankfully) back in between the pipes. It should be fun (maybe?).

    Projected Wild lineup

Kirill Kaprizov -- Ryan Hartman(?) -- Mats Zuccarello
Marcus Johansson -- Frederick Gaudreau -- Matt Boldy
Gustav Nyquist -- Sam Steel -- Marcus Foligno
Brandon Duhaime -- Connor Dewar -- Ryan Reaves

    Jake Middleton -- Jared Spurgeon
    Jonas Brodin -- Matt Dumba
    John Klingberg -- Brock Faber

    Filip Gustavsson
    Marc-Andre Fleury

    Projected Stars lineup

Jason Robertson -- Roope Hintz -- Tyler Seguin
Jamie Benn -- Wyatt Johnston -- Evgenii Dadonov
Mason Marchment -- Max Domi -- Ty Dellandrea
Joel Kiviranta -- Radek Faksa -- Luke Glendening

    Ryan Suter -- Miro Heiskanen
    Esa Lindell -- Jani Hakanpaa
    Thomas Harley -- Colin Miller

    Jake Oettinger
    Scott Wedgewood

This is the best game Zucc and Foligno have played in months.

Id feel better if they would’ve gotten that 4th, which they should’ve.  But, hard to complain about what’s happening here.

Play of the game from Johansson?

He has so much more confidence and game this time around.

It's such a nice surprise to see the Wild with this level of MoJo!!!

Johansson has been unreal.  He could easily have a second off the post.

Between he and Nyquist, Geurin looks like a genius.  They’ve been carrying this team.

Man the deadline for bill just keeps coming through. How about Nyquist too?! Point in every game, and basically involved in 90% of the goals thus far in the playoffs. That goal by Jo Jo was fairly arousing

I thought the Johansson move was pretty dumb, but happy to admit I was wrong. He's probably my favorite player to watch on the ice right now

Gotta love the speed he brings!

Dumba has always stepped up for the playoffs. I dont think he's ever been a liability in the postseason. My opinion has always been that he's reliable and as competitive as anyone in April.

Main reason I think Guerin likes Dumba.

This year's deadline dividends have been noteworthy. Not one bum in the bunch. For the price, given the Wild's prospect pool. Totally good acquisitions. Boldy got better with MOJO who's been good. Nyqvist also contributing. Sundqvuist, chipping in some goals too.

The Swedish invasion has been awesome!
