The Minnesota Wild have an incredible opportunity. After everyone predicted the Dallas Stars to walk away with this first-round series as the winner, but if the Wild win tonight it means heading back home up 2-0 on the favorites.

Game 1 was a doozy and a game that went on for way too long, but the result was fine. If we are asking the team of anything, it is to make this a win and less than 90 full minutes of hockey.

It is the playoffs, so we never have a clue who is actually playing until warm-ups happen just 30 minutes before puck drop. But, we did get the information that Oskar Sundqvist has healed from his injury and will be in the lineup for Game 2. As well, John Klingberg remains out, so the blue line will most likely stay the same as it was on Monday.

    Projected Wild lineup

Kirill Kaprizov -- Ryan Hartman -- Mats Zuccarello
Marcus Johansson -- Frederick Gaudreau -- Matt Boldy
Gustav Nyquist -- Sam Steel -- Marcus Foligno (Sundqvist?)
Brandon Duhaime -- Connor Dewar -- Ryan Reaves

    Jake Middleton -- Jared Spurgeon
    Jonas Brodin -- Matt Dumba
    Jon Merrill -- Brock Faber

Filip Gustavsson played 90 minutes of hockey on Monday but head coach Dean Evason said picking Game 2's starter wasn't going to be influenced by that. But, Marc-Andre Fleury has been rumored to be getting the start tonight, so we'll have to see.

    Projected Stars lineup

Jason Robertson -- Roope Hintz -- Tyler Seguin
Jamie Benn -- Wyatt Johnston -- Evgenii Dadonov
Mason Marchment -- Max Domi -- Ty Dellandrea
Joel Kiviranta -- Radek Faksa -- Luke Glendening

    Ryan Suter -- Miro Heiskanen
    Esa Lindell -- Jani Hakanpaa
    Thomas Harley -- Colin Miller

    Jake Oettinger
    Scott Wedgewood

Another Suter cross check. Seriously guys. If there was a game to run him, this was it, and you're really not doing it...and Benn, you're only slightly tougher than Suter.

Anyone else notice that Dumba has trouble controlling the puck more this year than previous years?

Something hasn't been right with him since last year's injury

Good getting one on the road boys. However, saying this game was disappointing would be a severe understatement.

Not going to take that bad as odds were against us as soon as Fluery jumped onto the ice.

Disagree wholeheartedly. Dumba has been playing his best hockey since his pec injury. He's focused on defense since his benching and has made little to no mistakes and has been extremely solid (still not $6mil solid) for the past few months. As soon as he quit focusing on contributing on offense, everything got better for him. This has thoroughly been outlined by the beat writers.

Let's see the welcome he receives back at the X'!

Glad the boys at least gave him a good hit and some crap. As long as we don't play stupid and jeopardize the game, I think they really need to lay into him at the X.

100%. He has looked really solid most of the season and been great in the playoffs.

Oh I agree with you on his defense has been better but his puck handling, especially when being pressured, tends to lose control more often this year.

You might be right, but it's not what I've observed. Everything he's been doing to include breaking out of his own zone has been better IMO. I'm a noted Dumba detractor BTW from years gone by even when he was scoring, but I love what he's been doing this year.

I think Klingberg's better than Merrill.

Maybe? lol. I'm really not sure. They're both pretty bad. Klinger does have the puck-moving/scoring advantage, but his defense is f'ing horrendous as well.

To be fair to Merrill he had an excellent game 1.

Had his moments for sure...but had his mistakes as well. His year overall was f'ing horrendous IMO.

How the hell did Freddy end up +2 in this mess. Ha.

...the whole L3 did. Looks like they needed more minutes.

Line 3 was the only group really playing well in my opinion. I thought out defensemen did a pretty good job clearing out Fleury's bad rebounds and what not, and I don't think they really played fault in many of the goals, but the other three lines all looked terrible at defensive coverage.......and MAF was atrocious.

Dean-O sticking to his guns on the goalie...lol. So what, you going with MAF in game 4? If you do depending upon what happens in game 3 there's going to be A LOT of backlash.
