mnfaninnc Verified Member
Nice win last night as the Wild continue to bank points. By my calculations, we must be pretty close to last year's record by now. Everyone is dealing with injuries too, this compact schedule this year has had a real affect on some rosters. This is more reason why keeping 2 fresh 'tenders helps us now and in April. The East looks like a traffic jam of 16 teams. Nobody is wanting to take control and a 4 game win streak can really send you up the board. It looks a lot like the Wacky Racers over there. The West has thinned a bit, but there's really only 3 teams out of it. We happened to get the best player from one of those teams! Right now, stay the course, this is the way, however you want to say it, and perhaps we can add in January again, this time without draining more from our roster! mnfaninnc Verified Member
Well, I missed that the Sabres have changed GMs, and rumor is that Ruff is heading into management and they'll be getting a new coach. Jarmo Keklainen, I hope I spelled that right, has taken over. Does this mean trades are coming out of Buffalo? The new GM thinks he can turn this around and isn't giving up on the season. Buffalo isn't far away from a playoff spot either, even though they're at the bottom of the East. A new coach bump could get them on the edge of the playoffs! I still value Tuch highly, and think he'd be just what we need come playoff time. It is very telling that he has not yet resigned with Buffalo. I'd say grabbing him from Buffalo and ROR out of Nashville for futures could be the best way to go!
