Avs were averaging 4 GF / game, then Wally & Crew handcuff them to half of there normal production. Keep fighting boys.

Must be a poor three on three system thing (can't be talent), so we have a chance. In my humble opinion... there's more randomness in OT and SO (especially in SO) so I don't think that trend will hold. The 6 game sample is pretty small, too. It was after their first goal, but before our first goal. Also it was right in front of their net. It was a legit net front battle that nojo won. That or the other guy had a bad edge. The 6 game sample is pretty small, too. As I was reading this, I was thinking about how Colorado has one of the worst power play conversion percentages in the league at 9% if I remember correctly. You would think with their talent they would be one of the best in the league. Also, their +/- is by far the best in the league as they have the most goals for and the least goals against. And they do this without a good power play. Mind boggling. Their team defense allowing the least amount of goals, imo correlates to why the have a bad OT record. My thinking is that there is more open ice, making it harder to defend. Which would make me think that Colorado relies on defense more than offense. Whatever the Av's formula is, it's working, but it didn't quite work last night!
