Article: The Wild Sit On the Razor's Edge A Quarter Of the Way Through the Season

While it makes sense to look at the season as a whole, the Wild were incorporating several new players and looked very different the first 9 games.

While one shouldn't extrapolate from only a hot streak, most of this Wild team did lead the NHL in the Standings for a short time last December. If you did toss out the first 9 games, the Wild playoff chances would look substantially better. Hopefully they can avoid the season-changing injuries they've experienced in prior years.

The Avalanche game should be interesting.

Go Wild!!!

I'm very curious how the team will play against Colorado.  I was all set to give up on the team and their chances, but the team didn't.  They redid their lineup and held firm ever since Rossi came back.  Zuccarello meant more to this team than we thought, but so did the top 4 playing like they should.

They aren't outplaying or dominating teams.  They are weathering storms and capitalizing on mistakes and have Kap, Boldy, Faber, and Mojo doing it.  The more they win and more teams lose, the better chance a trade target MIGHT (key word might) be there.  Some of the young kids turned out to be pumpkins so far.  Others have taken the spots  Gaudreau, Nyquist, etc took last year.

The Wild proved they aren't gonna just roll over and die.

It’s been this way every year for a decade. Soon we will go on a cold streak and then get hot again right before playoffs. We will secure a playoff seat in the last week of the season only to burn out in the first round

You might wanna clean your crystal ball, it’s kinda cloudy 😉

Anyone else hate ESPN+  .... sure would have liked watching the hawks game.

40 million streaming services that each require a subscription to watch all the games.   Very frustrating.

It's been great for me, but I'm out of market.

There are those in the hockey media who seek to raise NHL fans' blood pressure at all times. They’re the ones who are constantly moving goalposts or setting and then resetting the stakes of the season.

Well, I was looking at the headlines on HockeyWilderness.com and they are "up" right now but were very down in October. 🤣
