I get it, just have never seen the refs call it like that. Normally that is just a whistle and maybe if the refs are annoyed a penalty for knocking the net off.

Or the goalie would have had a post to push off and been able to get his pad in front of the shot. I'll take the win, but still quite surprised that held up as a good goal.

Agreed. Never seen a ref call it so I was surprised..  but it was so obvious that he pushed it off and even extended his arm to get it off... easy call.... the correct call.   Get tired of goalies that do that. Takes away from the game.

He could have  but a goalie shouldn't be rewarded for deliberately kicking the net off its moorings.
