FredJohnson Verified Member
We can also note that he's looking good on his biggest point of contention with the fans and media -- keeping the currently red-hot Marcus Johansson in an elevated role. Wtf??
Up North Guy Verified Member
The carnage would be historic. I can't stand the guy, but if he got my team winning in the playoffs I could push the bile back down.

Wtf?? I got myself to a point where I was sick of being sick of NoJo. I felt neutral re NoJo. I can feel the hate rising again…maybe I’ve gone full circle and it’s starting over again. We have confirmation that a one year contract is the only contract for NoJo. He’s useful only when playing for his next contract
Quebec1648 Verified Member
If the Wild keep struggling, what will the response be from the owner? How secure is Guerins job? I imagine Hynes only has job security until the owner directs the front office to make changes. The owner loves his playoff ticket revenue, so I would expect a change if they fail to make the playoffs.
Sam Verified Member
No to Jim Montgomery because that would be Deja vu, but a coach like Peter DeBoer might work well.. plus he has hair. 1
Patrick Verified Member
The best time to fire Hynes was the day after they hired him. The 2nd best time is right now. He is the very definition of mediocre. Unfortunately it won't happen. BG makes moves to protect his job and nothing more. He will keep Hynes around through this year and fire him in the office season in order to buy a couple more years with a new coach. Really we should be firing the coach and GM. They should have both been fired at the end of this past season with the pathetic roster management during the playoffs.

greg Verified Member
No way on DeBore. He creates way too much dissention. I don't like Hynes at all but no to DeBoer. We've had Boudreau, Eason, and now Hynes coaching essentially the same Wild team over the past few years. It's time to start giving some serious thought to dumping some players. Burnt Toast Verified Member
The real question is what makes Pete D such a winning and successful coach? Maybe the Wild brain trust can figure that out. If the reasons can fit well with the Wild’s needs behind the bench then pull the trigger. Keep Hynes as an assistant. Isn’t that exactly how he played Rossi in last year’s playoffs? Hartman was better so he got elevated. It’s not personal it’s winning hockey. It’s time for aggressive moves. My personal opinion? Well it would be extremely entertaining. But hey I’m just a fan. Fezig Verified Member
Two things. NoJo has a history of reeling us in only to beat us on the head like an unwanted bullhead. JEE needs a vision check, stick check, something check. He couldn't hit the net if he was standing in it. It's almost like he plays for the NBA and checks the betting lines.
