NoJoSux Verified Member
"What About Bob" is probably a good one for a laugh, unless you begin seeing Rorschach pucks in the MN-net, and go full Dr. Marvin, nuts as the Wild continue to meltdown. NoJo goal-scoring was rather unbelievable but hitting open nets is something he should be able to do after many years in the NHL. I didn't love his defensive awareness or compete on some of the Utah goals. Scoring twice and being -1 is not something to glaze over. Where's everybody else though? What's going on with the Wild? Getting scored on to begin almost every game within a couple minutes of puck drop. I dunno boys. Told you hoopleheads it’s one game in six for him, he lights it up and then you all bounce up and down, clapping like Eddie Murphy in Meet the Clumps. When youre not busying yourselves being fanbois to his inconsistency, you’re busy lobbying Gustafson’s plaque at the HOF. Who was in net last night? Was it Gus or a Johnny 5-hole tarp? The tarp woulda had a better GAA.

Who knows what they thought, but there's not one aspect of their game that's impressive right now. 3rd worst goals against and 29th in the league, last in their division. Now, the Central is tough. If the playoffs started today, five Central teams are in the picture with Dallas just on the edge. Minnesota seems to have either not worked hard enough over the Summer or Guerin/Hynes plan isn't working out. Should they embrace the tank and load up on picks again at the deadline and take a crack at getting into the mix for McKenna? Now would be a perfect time for OCL to do the bribe of his ownership career to the NHL or Mafia, or whatever. Tank now and try to get that true #1 player for the future. Boldy will either go off for a multi-point game and everyone with a foam souvenir claw will forget all about their disorganization or this cadre of over paid, medium talent superstars will continue to make one pass too many and the “fire Hynes” whispers will begin. Can’t fire a team but you can fire a coach. I don’t think Guerin is the problem and you don’t fire GM’s during the season unless you’re signaling a sale of the team or complete rebuild to your fan base. Pete DeBoer is at home filing his nails and waiting for the Olympics to start. You know he doesn’t take any guff from starting goalies, ask Jake Ottenger.

Hynes is not a good head coach and our roster needs a really good coach to make up for it. 2 negatives don't make a positive in this case.
