I was pessimistically optimistic he'd be productive, but it's not looking good. Not sure of what happened to him. Lost a step maybe? If so, he needs to adapt his game like any other aging veteran and seems to have no interest in doing that. Can't just float around and lazily stick check.

And then on the possession immediately after that Buium backed himself into a blueline corner and gave up a bad turnover on a forced pass.

I get that offensive defensemen have one of the longer learning curves of any NHL role, but still...😬
