The Wild are scheduled to wear these jersey's four times this season: 10/28, 11/4, 12/21, 1/24.  The question becomes how many times will KK97 wear this uniform this season.  Hopefully four, but at this rate possibly zero 😬

Thanks for this information. I assume that all of these dates are home games. When I saw the jersey, I was wondering if they would end up using them on the road a little more frequently?

While I like jersey changes, and had forgotten about the 25th anniversary this season, I think it's definitely best to go with the past for a year. I am still looking for a complete jersey overhaul with a design similar to the North Stars jersey construction, but, not necessarily going with the same colors.

This year can be about a nod back to the past, but next year should be very forward thinking with an eye on the future. As we get more skilled, I believe the jersey needs more flash. The organization gained the reputation of being boring trap hockey and has never really shaken that reputation. Seeing something flashy, and completely different changes the opinion, and captures the attention of national media and fans.

The reverse retro jerseys a few years ago, which morphed into the ’78s that the Wild wear as their alternate jerseys, were divisive, to say the least.

I disagree with Mikki's take on this statement, though. I don't think either of the '78s have been divisive. I believe they've been received really well, and sales would prove that out. The whites were sold out before most every other teams' jersey, and the greens are highly visible in all arenas.

Lambos has done well for himself in this camp. He looks like a guy who is pretty darn close to being NHL-ready, and at the very least he’ll be a first call-up type situation. You could tell how much more comfortable and confident he has looked with and without the puck.

“I feel a lot more confident,” Lambos said. “Just trying to make a statement.” -- The Athletic

Felt like a lot of people were down on Lambos, but he seems close to being an NHL defenseman, and maybe a really good one once he's fully developed.

Terrific news Lambos is taking the next step in his development, unfortunately we may need to move on from Brodin either this year or next while there's still value.  He would have great value to a team like VGK or LAK that needs to shutdown McDavid in the playoffs.
