They look just as good or bad as the rest of the team. Lol At least Yurov is getting some looks, but not cashing in on them. Ogz plays with tenacity, but that penalty was a bad one. Haight has flashes of nice stick handling, but it leads to nothing.

First time I’ve noticed him being confident with the puck on that PP. didn’t create anything but looked like he wasn’t confused which is progress

Both are amongst the four Wild forwards to register a shot. Pretty just okay so far in that category but factor in a costly penalty for holding and you're not loving the first period from anyone. Doesn’t finish his checks and still zero hockey sense. He’s following the puck around the ice and not hitting anything. I wouldn’t buy a #28. He won’t be here long.
NoJoSux Verified Member
Almost like Euro hockey is a finesse game with a lack of physicality and puck separation. It's a good thing the Wild are loaded with elite Swedes who are known for tow-rope style backchecking, hit-avoidance and shot-blockaphobia. I'd like to see him knock some people down sometimes. I think they will work out, but it will take some time still. I think Yurov is the most pro ready, but I wouldn't be surprised or sad if he spends time in Iowa

NoJoSux Verified Member
Haha, can't make this stuff up. Brackett's 2022 picks in this game are kinda non-factors. Chicago's 2022 selections Nazar and Rinzel who is one of us, both making plays or get'n on the scoresheet.

Pewterschmidt Verified Member
Jiri and zboo are playing a little hair on fire but I don’t mind their high risk high reward style. Pair them with a d-first partner (spurge, brodin, fabes, middles) and let the young guns cook. I’m realizing all our d are d- first

Picked higher than our guys but look at the speed, confidence, and results. Not even close. The point isn't always 20/20 hindsight and wishful thinking. It's simply a fair comparison of similar age guys, where they come from, how they're doing, etc.
