Less than 2 weeks away before the season starts to ramp up. Looking at the roster, there are a couple of interesting updates: Yurov- 6'1" 195 Heidt- 5'10" 194 Buium- 6' 192 All 3 of these players are coming in above their listed weights which were likely from their draft years. Are they estimated? I don't know, I don't think they've weighed in yet with the organization. This would suggest that all 3 have been working out. Yurov was expected as information about him in Russia was likely classified. But I do like Heidt and Buium growing. I'm hoping it's all muscle.

It's a great adustment by the league and players association. It still allows teams to change lineups between games. Effectively allowing some players to rest or have a replacement player at a relatively equal value as a possible injury replacement. I also like how they force the team to list 18 players and 2 goalies for each game so they can't just shorten the bench with high paid players.
