1Brotherbill Verified Member
With a good year in Iowa he will definitely have a shot at St. Paul next season or the one after. The Cap going up means Free Agents will be difficult to find that are worth it. Also, by the time he is ready for St. Paul the money the Wild will have will be tied up in other young kids who will have their first contracts. I like this kids chances of making St. Paul. mnfaninnc Verified Member Posted yesterday at 05:57 PM Share Posted yesterday at 05:57 PM Haight could have fooled me, he certainly looked bigger than 181 when I saw him in Charlotte. He was playing 2nd line C behind Bankier. Boyd was still up with the Wild or hurt (in fact, they were missing their top 3 forwards). IMO, Bankier was a little ahead of him in development. I think Haight went on a run later in the season.
