Or it's a 29-year-old player that has only played 4 games in the NHL in his career back in 2021/22 who the Wild only had a few days to sign and decided not to do so.

Not trying to make a mountain of a mole-hill but it is interesting that he wanted nothing to do with being buried in IA. Makes the Chisholm trade look pretty crummy if you ask me.

Also, I feel like he got a shot here. He was able to take the opportunity and establish himself as a legit NHL'r. I have a hunch this was a good experience for him. This is how you build a destination. Take care of the players and they will want to come. The locker room is worth more than it appears.
