Let's get fancy and aggressive. I think this deal now can be seen as fairly even - but i bet Demidov becomes a top 10 offensive producer and to pair him and Kap - would be a no brainer - even at the cost of Zeev and Rossi.

I guess it would depend if you think he will be the type of player he should end up being by next year (2026/27), or if it will take a couple of years.

i'd take demidov, as i think he'll have a faster rise to stardom than zeev and may align better with kap's window. zeev may need to marinate a bit more. 

demidov + kaprizov > mcdavid + draisaitl

then sign panarin and i guess rule the NHL for a few years?

It would be a huge gamble with possible high upside.  The extra money for two years would be nice too.

Tough decision,  but I don’t think Demidov is all he’s hyped up to be. If the proposal was Rossi + Jiricek then yes.

I don’t think it’s a fair offer. Demidov is a rank above Zeev so using Jiri instead is not enough. For the trade to be taken seriously- we’d have yo throw in a better prospect. Yurov is too low, so I think only zeev qualifies. But this is just a dream trade

I would see what we have in Yurov first. Similar production, size, position, shot (according to numbers...I have not spent any time watching Demidov, a little bit of Yurov).

Buium could be what we need to inject some energy into our PP. 

The poll is a nice touch, haven't seen that used here before.

I think i would try adding a quality player in free agency first  now that we have more cap space opening up and more players moving from NMC to 15 team no trade lists .flexibility  ,  i would wait a few years to see what you have with youre own players .

Guerin has yet to sign Kaprizov to his extention, and Russo claims things are stalled out. Leopold needs to step in a take over negation, because Guerin doesn't seem to be having much luck with either Kaprizov or Rossi.

Before we stat making fancy trade proposals, we need to extend Kaprizov. 

If we do want fancy trade ideas, then I still prefer Brady Tkachuk as Kaprizovs new line buddy. Rossi, Spurgeon and another big name should do the job. I throw in Spurgeon to free up cap space for Tkachuk.
