Citizen Strife Verified Member
If the team can win, yes. A lot of factors go into free agents choosing places. If weather or money aren't bigger deals to said players, winning pedigree sure is.
OldDutchChip Verified Member
As long as the moves make sense from the on-ice standpoint- sure, but if Orlov and Kuzy end up here - I’d sound the alarm

Off course everyone can be convinced with big $ but money is not everything

He is actually from Southwestern Siberia. Novokuznetsk is around 9 degrees closer to the North Pole, with a July(warmest month) average high temp of 76 and January(coldest) average high temp of 11 degrees Fahrenheit and average low of -4 for January. Minneapolis has an average January high of 23 degrees, and average low of 7 degrees, which may seem fairly comfortable by comparison.
Citizen Strife Verified Member
My main point was if winning is a thing, Minnesota needs to actually prove viable before anyone isn't bribed into being here.
Burnt Toast Verified Member
Toni, VT switched agents last year so he’s no longer using Paul T.( KK’s agent.) This is interesting. I’m not sure how plugged in you are but I’d love a story on agents. I’m thinking about doing some research myself.
1Brotherbill Verified Member
If Boldy puts a hundred point season up. Kirill does his 150 point season. Wallstedt and Gus put up solid seasons. Free Agency will look a bit better next summer. Add Rossi with 70 plus points and Ohgren a solid 60 this team has a future that will change. The state tax thing isn't a big issue like the article says players will play where there is a chance to win.
