Quebec1648 Verified Member Posted June 22 Share Posted June 22 Multiple sources are now reporting that the Wild are trying to get the former Anaheim Duck coach Greg Cronin as the new Iowa coach. Is this a good fit for the Wild? Can this coach do anything to help Iowa better develope NHL worthy players? Is Iowa doing poorly because Guerin / Brackett draft bad prospects, or is it bad coaching? Perhaps both? Craig Cronin also happens to remind me of comedian Drew Carey, so maybe Iowa will be a little more entertaining on the ice next year. Sounds like his strengths are details and accountability. He has a pretty decent track record. Seems like special teams was an issue (uh-oh) as well as coming off too strong and pissing off players.
