Goalies are too weird for that. If this happens, we have around $1m in dead cap space from The Wall. That doesn't seem like a smart use of $1m. The Wall must start seeing NHL rubber. He looks to be a goalie that will do best on a team with a good defensive structure and should do much better in Minnesota than he did in Iowa. He's a lot like Gustavsson. I think the Wild will be fine with what they have at goalie. Wallstedt will still take time to develop more, but I think he will do enough that he won't be costing us games.
