Protec Verified Member
At least Boldy took a big step this season. His series was good. People need to quit whining about Hartman and Foligno. They were also good and earn their 4M. Fleury is not washed-up and had a great year between the pipes. Spurgeon came back strong and is still a top 4 defender. MN's coach is still average as can be. Zuccy, NoJo, and the Euros need to be gone. NA players carried the water in the post-season. Failed Buium injection was a bummer, desperation was again obvious and Hynes's course-reversal on that was an embarrassment. Vegas got the boost they needed for the sportsbooks to keep their money. Sure does get old. I'll say it again, OCL's bribe game is weaker than an old blue-haired vax-addict. Enjoy the fishing opener boys, see ya again around draft/UFA time. Gets old doesn't it... Protec Verified Member
PP & PK still can't get the job done. Gus is solid. Bogo has been a great value and has an awesome beard. Lots of positives for MN and the biggest might be the end of the cap penalties and fingers-crossed, NoJo... Let's hope they can get the guys healthy and extend #97. I think we all need a rest, except for Cross-Eyed Bill who has his work cut out for him. He can have a lazy eye, but he and the draft guru or capologist better not relax or we'll be worn-out and depleted again next year this time wondering how losing in six is all the better they can ever do... Will D. Ness Verified Member
I'm not really impressed with Vegas. For a team that is a "contender" they seem more like a hands up, full defensive counter puncher that relies on not getting their ass knocked out and weathering the storm with a 50-50 goalie with luck on his side. The Wild, on the other hand, had the talent and some sweet punches, but they just didn't land squarely enough and often enough throughout the series. Yeah, we had holes in our defense but our goalie was stout I don't think we ever got knocked down. Vegas stole some rounds with late flurries against a gassed Wild which was the difference in the fight. I think we are the better fighter but need a little more experience and a few defensive studs to fill in. 15M won't hurt either. There is no conspiracy... it's just a shame. I don't know if Edmonton or LA can knock Vegas out because they have more holes in their D than us.. but I'll be rooting for them. One more thing - I'm not worried about #97 like all you pansy fans out there crying right now. He has to know this team is his ticket and the future is bright.

Pretty much agree with ya but when the Sportsbooks and Refs want Vegas to win, it's gonna happen. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, I'm a pattern recognitionist... 1 1

I'm not a conspiracy theorist, I'm a pattern recognitionist... I'm not sure if it's "confirmation bias" (what I mean is if I'm using the term correctly) to explain why officials make calls (penalty or no penalty) on certain players or a team in general. There are studies and papers published with peer review that confirm home field bias by officials. Does this extend to favored teams?
