No moral victories, but we were not outplayed.  Just couldn’t catch the breaks we needed in this series.  Sucks to lose a series  in 6 (again), especially  when you outscore the other team.

Think I will root for an all Canada final, Toronto and Edmonton.

I'm on the East side of things. Go Canes (they're my East team) or Ovi is a close second in the event they win this round.

Fuck! See ya in July when Billy's 5 year plan fails.

Yeah, cause plans fail in the off-season...

Remember how awesome so many people thought Nashville was going to be?  You can't tell anything by the off-season.

Some teams get players that don't seem like much but they completely blossom on a new team.

Some teams get star players and it ruins their whole team chemistry.

As long as we don't overpay for some highly-touted free agent just because we finally can, we will be fine.

I would probably root for Winnipeg too.  I guess any team besides Florida, Vegas, Dallas or Colorado.

Good point. Jets would be nice out of the west, even though I should hate them. They deserve nice things.

...long playoff run would go a long way to sustaining the franchise there.

It'd be hard for me to root for the Jets.

Out of the teams that are left, maybe Edmonton.  Or Carolina if I go with the East.

Oilers would be ok. I just grudge them based upon all of the opportunities/draft success they've had and done nothing with. Sometimes it feels like they're entitled to it.

...but not a Toronto level of entitlement. Let's not get crazy.

The jury will still be out on this series and season until we see what Guerin does in the offseason.

If he takes some risks to eventually make the Wild roster significantly better and also younger, then we'll know it really was a good season.

But if he approaches the 25-26 season as if this team was just a few less injuries and a mid-level player or two away from a serious playoff run, then we'll know that it was a setback disguised as a good season.
