Article: Wild's Season Is On The Line in Game 6

Recommended Posts

I'm expecting a victory tonight forcing game 7. We finally get a decent start time, but I'm delayed a day and won't be watching for awhile. I'll be on radio silence for a couple weeks.

I've heard Mike Sullivan and the Penguins mutually decided to part ways. I'm expecting Guerin to make a huge push to bring him into the Wild family, probably not starting as coach, but definitely in the FO.

So, 3 teams are disappointed thus far. I'm wondering if the Lightening's window has closed? Is Vassy for sale? Which direction do they go in?

After we eventually get eliminated, and I'm not saying it's tonight or Saturday, we can start working on next season. Guerin's got a few player's M-NTC teams, and he can start trading with other teams. There will be 24 to choose from. Why not get a jump start, after all, this is his biggest offseason yet. I suspect that neither Tkachuk is touchable. I also believe this is a time to start assessing Spurgy's value to other organizations. Based on the feed-back, perhaps a decision can be made to trade him or keep him?

I think this comes down to KK.  He had his worst game last time and in spite of that we probably would have won without the Nyquist leisurely stroll.

I've been impressed with about 90% of the team bringing playoff intensity hockey (including Nojo of all people) and I'm not worried we won't show up for this one.

If KK is rolling then we are going to be tough to stop.

That’s what I took from game 5, that we didn’t do what we did the last two game 5’s and that is not bring the intensity.  Even though we are down 3-2. We actually have out scored Vegas 17-15.  Planning on a win tonight, then an overtime win in game 7 to make things right.

6-1 Wild - Kap with a hatty!

Rossi gets 2 assists! (followed by our usual heated debate about his placement, minute allocation and "rightful" place in the wild hierarchy)

There will also finally be a fight in the series - lasting less than 10 seconds!
