He's what Freddy G. will become once his testes drop.

Freddy is an AHL reclamation project. Both have been productive for the Wild but in my opinion, Freddy has peaked and is on the down side. He has played better this year than I expected, but I don't believe it is good enough to play above the 4th line.

Agree. 4C is where he belongs. If he's in the top 9 that's not good for us. Bro skates well and has a good stick and is responsible but he's unable to use any of those traits for NHL offense. Watch he'll score tomorrow night and half this group will say seeeeee....Fred's not that bad. Just like when Trenin doesn't fall onto the puck and everyone sings his praises. (you didn't hear it from me but Trenin has been a solid playoff banger thru 4 games. Bro knows his role. Not sure why he can't do that thru the first 82 games, but I'll take what he's bringing now.) Citizen Strife Verified Member
Man, sure wish I could whine about a 40 pt., defensively responsible forward who can play anywhere in the lineup for $2m and played every game...oh wait. I MEAN BOO! WE DON"T SCORE ENOUGH! WE DON"T CARE IF HE BOUNCES BACK FROM AN EVEN WORSE YEAR! THE WILD NEED STARZZZZZZZZZZ! 1ST ROUND EXIT! The team sure needs better depth, but acting like Gaudreau is a Letteri, Beckman, etc. who hasn't done squat is a bit much. Anyway, Hartman is doing his job; for now. He's what the team has needed without any of the drawbacks; for now. I'm through giving him chances just because of elevated play. He's the type of player the Wild needs. The issue is can they afford the headache if or when a better option with way less baggage comes along?
