Wild/Vegas Game 1

Vegas is solid and smoked the Wild this season.

The difference is that MN was in various stages of injury trouble during the season and a couple of those games weren't lopsided til the end when VGK piled on goals.

It's a decent argument, MN could be much better now since NoJo is doing a little offense. Buium is fresh with a head of steam from NCAA, Ek & Kaprizov are back, and MN has had some time to regroup with a healthy roster. Will the Wild be able to surprise Vegas? Will Hynes be able to do any impressive coaching or will MN's special teams or big guys elevate their play???

It's not over til it's over. If MN is disciplined and has a halfway decent PP & PK for the series, they got a shot. Their goaltending and defense should be fine but can the Wild score enough 5v5???

Vegas won fifty games, they're a good team. Eichel, Dorofeyev, and Hertl, are Wild-Killers. Can't give them PP chances, staying outta the box has gotta be a priority.
