I look forward to this series settling the debate re: the importance of size in the playoffs (vs regular season).  Going to be watching Spurge, Rossi and Zuccy closely.  How effective are they during a playoff series?

Rossi and Zucc=Rag Dolled. They will do buttonhooks all series leading to Vegas odd man rushes.

Rossi is going to be the biggest (ha) one to keep an eye on with potential contract negotiations on the line. Sounds like he's been playing through something but if he can have a good showing in the playoffs Guerin might get a little sweeter on his contract.

I'm less worried about Zucc and even less about Spurgeon (as long as they stay healthy). Zucc's biggest thing is trying to force plays when they're not there, he can make great passes with great vision and then other times he forces it to a guy, Kaprizov mostly, that's covered leading to turnovers and rushes back the other way.

I'll disagree here.  Spurgzy was manhandled badly the last time we were in the playoffs.

I didn't think he got manhandled too bad by Dallas, unless I'm remembering through rose colored glasses. Looked up stats and he was a -6 for the series so he may have but out of the 3 listed he's the least worrisome to me.

Since March 1st, the Wild have had a top 10 power play and above average PK, and I'm using March due to a shift in personnel being used around March 1st.

Vegas has had one of the worst penalty kill percentages since March 1st.

Vegas needs to be wary of the Wild Power Play!

Wilds power play will be elite with Buuim's skills.

Well, I'll be able to watch 1 whole game live anyway...

Looks like I will be watching one or two periods of the games followed by an early breakfast watch of the end of the games.

Or older and wiser so as to not piss off the wife by not going to bed with her.  She is fine if I get up early to watch, but not as accepting staying up late to watch hockey. I can record and rewatch the game, but not a fan of an upset/cutting off wife.  Will reserve that for later rounds….

Hard to believe Zeev, in his first full practice, is practicing with PP1. Not sure why they haven't tried Merrill there yet. Any guesses Red?

Well Merril has high hockey IQ, the quickest hands and feet on the team, insane lateral movement, and elite play making abilities! Why is a 19 year old kid gonna be quarter backing PP1 in the NHL playoffs?
