A little hope, maybe. Happy to see Kap and Ekker back in full health, definitely. A positive outlook on how deep of run we will go on this year, not so much. Cup teams don't lean that hard on two players. We look much deeper with those two back as Rossi and Boldy can go back to secondary scoring help and we can send back down the tweeners that filled our forth line these past month, however, we are no where near Jets or Vegas level.

Not saying a run is impossible just improbable.

One of the most important thing going into the playoffs is team confidence. Nobody cares how we feel about them, but it is important how they feel about themselves. Suddenly having confidence that the team can score is a really big deal. For the young kids, that confidence can come from just 1 big game like we saw. I would say this is good news.

It may not result in a 1st round victory, but I would say it will make this team a harder out. It also takes pressure off of Goose to have to be perfect.
