He's more consistent than anyone that's paid more than him or more highly touted. I bagged on him last year and I feel bad after learning he basically played hurt all year.

That's pretty bleak. I know how f'n discouraging it is but if this build doesnt work, we'll probably be another 5+ years out from the next shot. I think the next two years are the real window. I dont think many people even thought we'd make playoffs (if we do). There is something about this team.....just need a few big changes.

I agree that Billy's "plan" seems suspect at best, but we might need to look at the owner a bit as well. I'm still reserving judgment until next year, but some of these moves and contracts have most certainly made me scratch my head until it bleeds.
