I know there is going to be endless lamenting and despair over this game but we've had them in our o-zone for most of this game. Apart from the 5 minutes where we fell apart, I think they've done well. Getting beat by goalie

I agree.  Outshot them, won more face offs and had more hits and more takeaways.  All of this without Kap, Ek, Brodin, and Foligno.  Also playing with 5 dmen over half the game.  Feels like we could have gotten at least a point out of that one.

Mainly the Wild are too cute and perimeter.

Dallas got their first goal on a deflection but MN is looking for a tic-tac-toe on their PP.

Stars cycle down low leads to a Duchene goal. Now, he's a very good veteran but the Wild make Oettinger look double-great.

Where the eff is Boldy to get his own revenge on Hintz? Rossi went to check on #12, not immediately clobber Roope. Betcha that woulda resulted in even penalties at least... 🙂

Dallas just looks elite c ompared to what we had to offer. You could just tell Dallas was gonna completely take the game over with physical play. The Wild aren't even close to putting a contender on the ice. Even with Kap and Ek back it isn't close to win a series in the west. The next 4 games dictate if this team even makes the playoffs. Brazeau is a joke! He should be running people with his big frame.

The Wild are still the snot-nosed little brother in the Central. Easily pushed around and picked on. The big boys eventually squash any Wild hopes of an upset.

Dallas is deeper and less injured but MN just confirms our complaints and doubts.

Playoffs, you need toughness, battle-level, greasy-goals, faceoffs, and special-teams. MN has pretty much zero of that but a good tendy-duo and injured superstar.
