Not trading Gus last off-season really helped.

I couldn't have been much more against trading Gus, as regulars here likely would have picked up on with my numerous posts about it. The end of year stats weren't incredible, but there were lots of reasons to anticipate better results this year and he was young enough to develop into a solid #1.

Goose should get a star for the week from last week's play. I was also an advocate of not trading Goose on the low, but waiting for a bounce back.

I'm hoping he continues to see the beachball again.

As for Crotty, this sounds like Bogosian got dinged up. IIRC, I thought Bogo took a follow through to the head and a chop to the hand vs. Buffalo.

Dammit. I hear that he was limping after the last game. Is this another Wild team medical staff screw-up?

Hynes said it was just maintenance.  He was out a long time and they just want to take it slow.  Said he is day to day and will be for a while.

Looking at those 3 stars, Dylan Holloway was one of the guys the Blues offer-sheeted to take away from the Oilers. He's really delivering for them with top 3 points on the team at $2,290,457.

Brogerg is a top 4 defenseman for them as well. Hopefully the Blues don't pass the Wild and they face Winnipeg in the 1st round.

Noticed this too.  That STL GM is looking like a smart guy.
