The goal the Brazeau scored was deemed to be a good goal. It looked like a pseudo kicking motion to me. I’m surprised they allowed it. Anyone else see it?

Buffalo pushed hard at the end, I was nervous they were going to get back in it but Gus was sharp again. Would loved to have seen him get another shutout. Boldy really shined today but overall, I thought everyone played well.

We needed those points as the next 5 games are going to be tough. April is not as tough a schedule but still have some key games vs. Stars, Flames and Canucks.

If the rumors about KK starting to skate early next week are true, that would give him two weeks to get up to speed which would put his return in time for the Stars/Flames/Canucks week starting 4/6. We could really use Ek but I haven't heard anything about him returning.

If Kaprizov, Ek, and Foligno were back in the lineup, MN would be a stronger team. Given that deficiency, I'd say they're playing well. Gus deserving at of credit recently, no question but the Wild scoring three at least makes it easier to get wins.

Of course it was a pseudo kicking motion.  Like almost every other goal that gets directed in with a skate.  If they would have disallowed that goal, I might have quit watching NHL hockey, as these goals are never disallowed as there wasn't a distinct kicking motion.  

I have yet to understand what a distinct kicking motion is, but I think it's on the verge of toe punching a puck into the net or someone lining up a field goal and then kicking it in.  Or possibly punting it in.  

I thought Brazeau sold it pretty well by looking like he was trying to keep his balance.

Ryan Carter was raving about Boldy being an unstoppable stud. What I seen was a god awful Buffalo team. Man they are even worse than their standing shows!

Has anyone ever seen Merril make a clean pass outta the D-zone? I haven't! It's a serious mystery why a future top 2 Jiricek gets sent down. Otherwise they found a way to beat a more talented team.

There was a 5on5 stretch where we player keep away in the o-zone and I had to look a couple times to make sure we weren’t on the PP.  yah, Buffalo is bad.

Having watched the BUF game, can anyone explain why we should fire sale our roster (send Boldy+Faber+Zeev) so that we can get Tuch and Tage in return?

I'd rather keep our current group (Rossi included) than trade for these two.  They're legit NHL'rs but I'm not convinced they're an upgrade.

16 goals for phone booth so far!  If he ages the way Zuc has aged that contract looks pretty good for a defense first responsible player who can munch minutes and not be a liability

Just get Boldy and Rossi to shave the sides of their heads and perm the tops. That's close enough. 🤔

Thompson was a beast on the ice yesterday.  Tuch not so much.  We need a big RH center and Thompson is that.  He just has no one to play with.  Trading Rossi and Faber for Thompson would be something the Wild should definitely look at.  Boldy I think we should keep but someone needs to have a talk with him about putting on 15 pounds and going to the net.  Rossi isn’t good in the west and Faber is not worth 8.5mm but Buffalo needs a RHD and Rossi is a good sweetener.  Thompson will change our PP.  Get Thompson, Ek, Brock Nelson for 4-5mm and then Hartman can be 4th line center.  Trade Spurgeon for anything to unload salary. We are strong at D and need 3-4 more impact forwards to compete with the best in the west.

P-Homie I agree 1000%. Do not understand the fascination with Tuch on this forum.
 

Thompson on the other hand, he’d be a good get but not worth anywhere close to sending either Faber or Boldy that way. Case can be made for Rossi but don’t see Buffalo making that trade unless you give some major capital but Faber, Zeev or Boldy shouldn’t be in that conversation.
