Article: No Timeline For Kirill Kaprizov Injury, But There Is Good News

None, it's the MN curse. Only the Twins have broken it and that was decades ago. Well, that and the NHL will never allow the Wild to win a cup. Not enough revenue for the league.

Oh the good ol MN curse, my first year truly being a fan of a team, I mean watching every game, following, wanting a jersey and all that was the 98 Vikings, quite the initiation into the MN Sport Club. Be so wonderful if the curse could be broken.

Let's hope Kaprizov get's healthy and returns the way he started the season.

He's been missed. Best player in Wild history. We want a healthy #97. If he has to sit out, so be it.

Next season is the best hope anyway.

To paraphrase Russo's arguments:

Russo said this morning it looks like KK will be back skating next week. Expect a week to 2 to get back in game shape. Brods maybe tomorrow. Ekker a little longer.

Jimmy is going to be coming back tomorrow?  I heard he started skating about a week ago.

Russo was a little cagey about it but suggested that it was quite possible (if not probable). This was during the discussion on Oggzy. He is up on an emergency call-up so may get sent back to Iowa.

The Blues will pass the Wild. Much hotter and healthier team with a more favorable schedule. It's all up to Vancouver and Calgary and how bad they want in. The Wild can be caught and bumped. Especially if you add Rossi to the injury list and the others aren't back fairly soon. It doesn't sound like they will be, so the door is open.

If there were 20-25 games left, I'd tend to agree with you. But since we're at about 10, I think it will be very hard for others to catch the Wild, especially with Ek, Brodin, and Kaprizov due back.

The argument I buy:

That our medical staff, indeed, has some questions that must be asked and are on the hot seat right now. Going from a tweak to this is pretty bad, but also put in the other 2 teams who have complained about the staff, that's even worse. I don't know about you, but I'm seeing flames behind the RN counter right now.
