Article: Does Justin Brazeau Have the Skill To Adapt To Hynes' Systems?

Recommended Posts

I'm going to remain optimistic on Brazo.  The offensive hockey play expectations are very low.  This guys best quality is that he's giant.  The expectation/hope with this kid is that he understands his role is to be physically intimidating and finishing checks (looking at you Trenin) and he plays with a minimum level of intensity (you again Trenin).  If he does those two things there's a place for him in the NHL regardless of how he skates.  No one looks more uncomfortable with the puck on his stick than Trenin and he got a 4 year deal.

Brazo has the chance to be:

1) Greenway with a brain

2) Trenin with a heart

3) Mojo with courage

Well ok, probably not the 3rd one

Will come down to how badly Brazo wants to be collecting an NHL paycheck at 30 yrs old or if he's ok driving a garbage truck.  Your move hot shot.

I'm gonna have the Pewter spot shadow on the kid the rest of the season and I'll be rooting for him.

We probably should give the guy a break, but it is difficult for me because of the price we paid to get him.

I think he deserves a lot of rope. Massive difference between MN's systems and Boston's.

Be patient and hope a switch flips by the playoffs.
