The way the Wild played that OT, mostly just controlling the puck and trying not to give up scoring chances despite very few actual scoring attempts by them, you wonder if the coaches suggested that they play that way, get to the shootout, and know that they have a goalie advantage in a shootout.

Great job by Gus, Zuccy, and Boldy to grab 2 points once they got there!

They can save Freddy's dazzling dangles for another night.

After the talk this week about how great the Avs were and how we were screwed I will just say this, that is why they play the game.

I know it is only one game, and our Offense is still struggling to score, but a win is a win.

I’ll assume the logic here is they want Jirizy to be around the games to get used to the stretch run pressure but not put him into such a consequential game and opponent like the avs to risk his psych (see Wallstedt)

It absolutely blows my mind that Merril is out there while DJ sits in the press box. If the wild aren't going to play him, leave him in Iowa.
