WheelSnipeCelly Verified Member
Love to hear that they've won 4 in a row. Definitely hoping that Khusnutdinov and Öhgren can add some firepower down in Iowa. It would be great to see some improvement from last year in any statistic for Iowa. Last season they finished tied for 30th place with 62 PTS (0.431 PCT), were 31st place in GF (184 G), and 30th in GA (245 G), and were -61 in goal differential. They're currently playing at a 59 PTS pace (0.407 PCT) this season, which is worse than last season, and are in 30th place (just like last season). They also already have 195 GA, which is on pace for 260 GA for the season (15 more/worse than last season), and still ranked 30th. Hoping for Wallstedt and Hlavaj to finish the season out strong and close above .900% (they're both sitting around .88%). Ending on a positive note, the one area of minor improvement looks to be in the goals department. They have 151 G so far this season (which is on pace for 201 goals or 17 more than last season), and has them ranked at 26th (5 ranking placements higher than last season).
