Article: How Did the Wild Build A Strong Prospect Pool Without Top Picks?

I love Brackett. However, there is one knack on him - defenders.

Buium is an anomaly, there is absolutely no way he should have been available at 12th overall. I don't consider taking him a genius move on Brackett's part, Buium was a fringe top 5 talent.

O'Rourke and Lambos are way behind expectations, Hunt was progressing nicely. As for the rest, there's an outside shot for them to even make the NHL imo.

But what I'm more concerned with is Jett Woo (37th overall in 2018) or Olli Juolevi (5th overall in 2016). I don't know what his influence was in Vancouver compared to what it is in Minnesota, but these were absolute busts. On the other hand, Q. Hughes (8th overall in 2018) is probably the best player of the draft class, so it's hard to say. I'm still not very confident in him taking D-men in the first two rounds.

I think I speak for most people here when I say nobody wants to talk about politics here. We come to talk about hockey. You make yourself look foolish by being so emotional about politics on a hockey comments section. I think you should keep your politics to yourself or be prepared to get piled on in the comments. Nobody cares what side you’re on or what your opinion is A lot of us came here to get away from politics.

Exactly!  Thank you.
