RedLake Verified Member
Good win. One big trade, Buuim, Yurov Jiricek, and of Course Kaprizov could get us into round two. 2

I will have to wait for the replay tomorrow. I wish all 82 games could be on the same channel, not this bs of different channels every time. I missed Thursdays game because it was on Hulu, and I guess I will miss tonight's game as well. I have Spectrum and they have a choose 15 plan. You get your local channels and can choose 15 others to watch. I was able to get both fan duel channels doing that.
Imyourhuckleberry Verified Member
Good way to enter the break, unlike last year when the Wild lost 3rd period leads in 2 straight losses to lead into the all-star break. They might not have a good result every night, but this is a much better team than last year and is likely to be another step above this next season. Hopefully the Wild players in 4 Nations have a good tourney and STAY HEALTHY! Edited February 9 by Imyourhuckleberry

Change is needed Lol. Never happy. Islanders had won 7 of 9. Not saying they are great but a win is a win. More importantly 10 points in past seven games before the break, and doing it without Kap. Go Wild!! 4
Protec Verified Member
Last night's game was good for a couple reasons. One, home win. Two, MN showed some offense and it looked like a game from earlier in the year when they were finding ways to bail themselves out for mistakes and capture momentum. Now DeAngelo on defense helped MN out last night and Gus is still being the 1A we hope for. That's huge for last night's W. It's true the Wild haven't crumbled with the adversity they've faced and a break could be nice timing for the team. Feeling pretty good about it actually and there's no major complaints. Guerin has done it. He 86'd the Suter/Parise era and turned the Wild around 180°. They got great prospects, penalties are nearly over, and the team looks like a playoff is in their future. Bogo is solid, Fluery still has it, Rossi arrived, and Gus proved he's a 1A. Chisholm was free to grab. Knudi looks way better than an older Kunin, the Guerin transactions are crazy good getting Buium and Yurov in some creative ways with assets MN could let go... Positive vibe Sunday if ya asked me. 😁

Everyone here needs to think about more. We need 3-4 more top forwards and a couple big RHD.
SkolWild73 Verified Member
So even if we win a cup one of these years, you won't be happy the entire year leading up to the cup win and miss out on the entire journey? Shoot, if I was only happy with the finish and not the lead up to it, my wife wouldn't have married me, and I wouldn't have my two boys.

But most of us are just happy with what we have and not complain about the players we have or do not have because doing so is not going to change the team. Because I don't think Billy G is reading these comments and going back to the office and saying, "Man, a few guys in the Hockey Wilderness comments are saying we need to trade Boldy, Rossi, Faber, Hartman, Spurgeon, Nojo and Freddy G or we are never going to win a cup. We better get on that". I guess I like being happy and optimistic 364 days out of the year and only disappointed for the one day when we are eliminated from playoff contention or lose in the playoffs. Then I get back to looking forward to the draft, the next year and the development of our players. For myself it is better than being miserable all year worrying about things I cannot change. Also, I would be very happy with a playoff berth this year when very few people had us making it before the year started. Especially after all the injuries we have had this year. But that doesn't mean I don't want more. Not sure how old you are, but I lived through the Cup losses to the Islanders and the Penguins back in the day, so I can't wait until we win one, hopefully before my last breath. Go Wild!!

Preach brother! But I have a feeling the complainers would complain that we didn’t sweep the opponents after we win 5 straight Stanley Cups.
