It’s the same cast of characters (+trenin who doesn’t even play on #1 pk.  What would you say you do here bro) that one and dones in the years they make the playoffs.  Reversion to the mean.
but P-Soup the injuries blah, blah…

This group needs to add TWO grown ass top 6 fwds to compete    And I’d say Tuch is the lower end of a grown ass top 6

You're probably right here, but P-Soup, we don't have any cap space. This is exactly why I'm thinking this year we go with what we've got unless we can pry Tuch loose, and then revamp next season with some cap flexibility.

However, I do think that some of the vets have got to be sent out.

On a different note, reading the Russo article, I think Marcus Foligno needs to look at himself in the mirror. His play, specifically, has not been up to snuff. He needs to play a hard, physical game and it was on him as the A to shut up Andersson with a powerful, bonecrunching hit at minimum. Just toss it in his corner and bring your stapler.

He may need to be subtracted if he doesn't start performing better at his role, and this is my 1st post on that topic.

Khus & Lauko too. I don't know why they haven't been getting the PK1 time, they have enough speed to play the aggressive style that has worked for the most part. About the only reason I can figure is FO% by Freddy.

Having Brodin back will be huge too though, get Faber-Brodin #1 & Mids-Spurge #2.

It's still be atrocious no matter how you look at it though. Seems like the 1st or 2nd shot goes in a lot of times too and late in PK's, sometimes goalies have to make a good save too.

This was a little weird. I thought this guy was all the rave when he came out of college. I wasn't aware he had such a falling out.

Not sure, but I do recall that he had a couple significant injuries right out of the gate that really have hindered the beginning of his NHL career.  Perhaps when he's come back he is being more cautious or just isn't the same player physically anymore that he was when they drafted him.
