Svech is a tiger, but my memory seems to think he's been hurt the last couple of years. I really like him as a player, but if I'm trading Boldy, I've got to have a Tkachuk. Svech is at that age where nagging injuries can keep coming. Boldy isn't at that age. I do see availability as an ability.

they are only a year apart 🙂  but i do agree with injury history. but that's life of a hockey player. he'll be back to being a target soon enough. 

tkachuk at this point is just a dream. but svech....maybe boldy and kampulainen (for the finnish touch) can get it done?

I just can't bring myself to dumping Boldy yet for Svech. I see so much potential in Boldy that I think he can be better. I like the grinding part of Svech's game better, but I think Boldy's got it in him to do something similar. So, health + potential for me would mean stay the course. For instance, Svech has only hit 30 goals once. The main culprit? Games played.

right, but that may be a bad luck streak. he is making his way back now and his trajectory may be into superstardom should he remain healthy. 

also him and kap = bond (more so than him and boldy i would think....and he can step in and console kap after zuccy leaves....and then we get - yurov/svech/kap as a line - has there ever been such a dynamo line of russian players? all on one line that is)

A big part of context that people don't seem to get with Tuch: He's a Western NY native who actually wants to be in Buffalo, which has a lot of value for them.

Good new JT Miller is off to the NYRs. We can scratch that team off as a potential destination for KK. They were the team I felt would go after him. I think now one of the Florida teams will make a push in July. I could see Chicago making moves to clear  Kapspace as well. Sounds crazy but you never know.

JT miller is absolutely dominating the 1st period with rangers.  Almost scored every time on the ice and controlled all the play.  Wish we would have gotten him or had the stones to make a move like that.  Pitch buffalo Boldy, Rossi, Ohgren, chisolm and a pick for Tuch and Tage Thompson.

good call on that. although if rangers are smart - they can unload zeba $s and make room for kap....

chicago - i am least worried about now - no way kap goes there unless he wants $ over Winning

i'd be worried about PHI and FL teams

i'd throw 8 max term at 15mm per at kap this July, and if that doesn't do it, you know it ain't about $s and you have your clear answer

Another guy I wouldn’t mind getter to beef up our D is Kandre Miller from the rangers.  Would be affordable to resign and wouldn’t take much to get.  Large bodied smooth skater.  Maybe Spurgeon would go to the rangers.

I think Miller would be a really good get but the Rangers will play the long game on him. He is having a down year but will bounce back. Not sure what it would take but no way Spurg gets it done.
