I know everyone's been dogging on Boldy for penalties but it looks pretty obvious to me that he he's working on playing a more physical, power-forward game. I think once he gets dialed in on this style, he will be on another level.

God I hope so. I just don't see him playing as big as he is. Tone down on trying the pretty stuff and be a power forward.

I think when Trenin was out, we got a good idea of what he brings because we didn't have any of it during that losing streak.  Good to see him and Foligno back together.

Moose should play without a stick at this point, because it wouldn't matter. His stick handling and shooting is beyond painful.

Had to miss this game thread with you guys. I would have liked very much to play the role of grumpy, negative, curmudgeon about it. Boldy certainly unhappy and had a crossbar, but you made the cute pass attempt through the guy before the goal.

The Wild need a spark. One of the depth guys would be great to do it but the coach plays his top guys too heavy. Wild STILL don't have the balance. Earlier this season, it looked like they did. AHL call-ups are still AHL call-ups. I'd like to see the Wild pick up a Brock Nelson or a similar steady veteran who could plug in and shuffle the lines. Hartman is getting shots and I see him create chances for himself. NoJo has zero jam in his game and Fred is too responsible and average in speed or special talent to create a lot individually either. Put NoJo with Knudi and elevate somebody to that spot. Ogie with Ek is obvious. Moose and Trenin are similar guys although Foligno has better instincts and finish this season which isn't saying a lot since his stats are same as NoJo. It's just been another crummy year so far for the veteran guys who aren't really bad enough to really rip on, but aren't good enough to really pat on the back for their success.
