We are asking a lot of a team without some key players.  To pull it off would be a feather in the cap for the players on the ice.  We need them.  They can't depend on Kirill to put up points this time.  Time to stand up an be counted.  Good Luck Wild!

I mean, anything can happen in a game.  But It's going to ask a lot that Marcus Johansson or Foligno are the two best options under Kaprizov on short notice.  Ew.

Zero chance tonight.  I’m not sure they can muster more than 1 goal without Kaprizov.  Dallas only has to really “worry” about the one line with Boldy.  Even so, Boldy hasn’t been scoring against anyone lately.

It’s very unfortunate.  If they could’ve gotten Ek back and had a healthy Kaprizov tonight, it’s a great opportunity to build confidence and get things back on track (even with a close loss).

Its hard not to envision a loss by 3+ goals tonight, which further deteriorates morale (both players and fans).

Man, this thing fell apart quickly.  Two weeks ago they were leading the NHL in points and were being called cup contenders.  Two weeks from now they might not even hold a Wild Card spot, with 3 of the next 5 being at Dallas, Washington, and Carolina.  Then, hooking Colorado, Vegas, and Edmonton in 3 of the 5 after that.  The way they’re playing, Its hard to see more than 6 points in the next 10 games.

All of my instincts say that the Wild should be blown out in this match up. If they can pull off the upset I’d think it would be a huge confidence boost for the team, injured players and coaching staff. I’m going to get emotionally invested. The Stars have become the team I am most looking forward to the Wild dismantling.
