MNCountryLife Verified Member
Nothing against Hunt. But Brodin is playing really well this year and that is a big loss.
Protec Verified Member
Another thing. Ogie in the AHL, has four goals in four games. His shot is NHL level. I thought he should have been on the line with Ek where they have NoJo. It's interesting to see the Wild keep NoJo playing in that spot no matter what. He has been brutal yet. Against CHI, -2 and they only scored two. No shots, no blocks. 15+ TOI for a non-factor level of 1000% bucks. I will never understand why the Wild wouldn't try something new there and demote NoJo. 14 games, 3pts, what a waste of a 2L spot. He's on pace for less than 20pts. It's been 8-10 years since he was any good. Always a meek Euro but now we're fortunate if he makes a play or scores every dozen or so games. Get a frickin AHL guy or Trenin in the NoJo spot.
Pewterschmidt Verified Member
From Russo Twitter: The line juggling in Chicago was temporary #mnwild lines back to normal Kaprizov-Rossi-Zuccarello Milne (JoJo fill-in)-Eriksson Ek-Boldy Foligno-Gaudreau-Hartman Lauko-Khusnutdinov-Trenin Milne watch is on. I like Milne for two reasons: 1) he’s got a fun name 2) I saw him play in development camp couple years ago and he played a junk yard dog forecheck game that immediately got my attention. i hope we get to see Cooper Top in nhl soon
Protec Verified Member
Yeah, hopefully NoJo got season-ending diarrhea. https://thehockeynews.com/nhl/minnesota-wild/latest-news/wild-recall-forward-prospect-from-iowa
Citizen Strife Verified Member
If Milne doesn't get slotted in or show his worth, then Ohgren will get another chance.

I think Ogzy stays in Iowa until the final 10 games of NHL season, then comes up for another look. Like a reward for job well done dominating in Iowa. But P-Snazzle he got a hat trick in the AHL...he proved to everyone thru his 10 games he's not ready for prime time and that didn't change in a week, so 40-50 games dominating the JV league is what this kid needs to build up his confidence so when he comes back up he's proven to himself he doesn't need to get back to the AHL. #bestcasescenario

Anything is better than NoJo.
