Protec Verified Member
As of today the top three teams in the NHL are in the Central with STL, COL, UT, and NSH all looking to capture a playoff spot. It's pretty early but four of the top ten are from the Central. If you consider the refs during the Seattle game which includes NoJo's worst gaffe and MN could have an even better record??? Sorry, NoJo-digression kicked in.😁 Bottom line is, Minnesota is in the toughest division. Ive been saying this a long time but you have to be able to win in your division. How else are you gonna get past the first two rounds??? It has to happen. MN can have a great record after 3 weeks and an amazing regular season but you have to take care of business in the rivalry games and must win situations. So far, WPG and STL were both good showings for the Wild. Keep it up boys!
Will D. Ness Verified Member
This goes to show how lame we all are with our predictions and shit. I had Winnepeg falling and Nashville rising. Colorado was going to be at the top end and Utah was still too young to compete. I knew the Wild were going to be competing but I didn't think goaltending and defense would be so strong. It's a complete 180 from last season. I think our young dudes are getting confident and our lazy dudes are getting motivated and our injured dudes well they are still injured but it's all good when Gus and Fleury play their top games.
Protec Verified Member
Currently three of the top five teams in the NHL are in the Central. The other two teams, FL, and VGK have played more games. The argument for the Central being the toughest division is pretty good. Colorado is playing better. Nashville might figure it out. MN is gonna have to at least beat Dallas and Winnipeg if they're gonna go deep in a playoff scenario.
