MNCountryLife Verified Member
Good to see the power play doing well. Even better to see the Penalty Kill not having to take the ice. Plain and simple: If you suck at something... avoid doing it.

It's like the old joke: Patient - "Dr. it hurts when I bend my finger like this." Dr. - "Then stop doing bending your finger like that."
1Brotherbill Verified Member
Does a tipped shot count as a high danger shot? Just wondering. Because few people actually get to shoot in the high danger area as a planned shot. Normally it is a tip in or a scramble because of rebound from a shot outside of the high danger area. I believe it does.
mnfaninnc Verified Member
To answer Bekki's question, I think it's both. You can have a great system, but if the guys executing it suck, it won't work. Equally, you can have a lousy system but really good players can make it work. I'm seeing movement, I'm seeing Zuccarello on the other side half boards, I'm seeing a lot of retrievals. Part of this is the system, part of it is simply very good players executing the system. However, if you take away one of the pieces, what happens then? I thought the PP looked better when Ek was not out. However, they were still effective. That part probably is due to executing the system.
