Article: Who Will Step Up In Matt Boldy's Absence?

Recommended Posts

Tonight's Ohgren/Ek/Trenin line should be an interesting experiment.  If they want to keep Rossi as either Kap or Foligno's center, then the person to move up might be Gaudreau in a pinch or a Boyd/Lauko/etc.  These extra preseason games are what Ohgren and Heidt need after really struggling against Dallas.  You're going to see those players almost as much as any other team in the league all year.  Gonna be hard to justify your spot of people like Boyd and Lauko are just plain better fits right now.

I don't think Boldy's injury is all that serious.  Russo and LaPanta both said Hynes wasn't exactly panicking about it.

Nice shorthanded break away goal by Jones.  Set up by a cross ice pass by Khuz.   Khuz making plays on the pk.  Keep it up young gun.

Peart takes a couple bone head penalties. Then on his next shift turnover puck in d zone.  And then gets beat in front of net for a wpg goal.   Not good young gun

Pretty much agree with Pewter on the Wild-Jet game. I do think Ogie had a better game than you describe but certainly not a great game.

Ogz not making fool of himself, but no one needs to get butt hurt that he’s not getting second line minutes. 4 th line is he belongs right now
