mnfaninnc Verified Member
I thought for a 2-way deal, resigning Shaw would be good for both Wild teams. While he lost a step last year, it's the 2nd year after an ACL that you look for. I think this was a serious mistake, and for a fringe 4th liner, that's a bold statement. Shaw embodied the sacrifice and effort players need to have and that prospects need to grasp. His never quit attitude was contagious. I think the organization will miss him. However, does he make the Winnipeg roster? I doubt it, which means he will likely be a waiver candidate.
