Dean Verified Member
Rossi is Granlund. A great top 6 for the sharks but not a playoff team. He can’t center kappy and Boldy because he’s to weak and small . He’s done nothing consistently against good big teams. Plays the outside . It seems like the same crying we heard when Addison was traded. Addison can’t play d just like Rossi will never be a # 1 center. He doesn’t have the fight in him like a Brayden point. . So it’s smart to cut bait and get the high value out of him before others figure it out.. He’s not the future! It’s playoff season and these clowns can’t even handle the sharks. They’re healthy but just simply a bad team. Billy’s turned us into a one line team . Kappy ek and Boldy is all they have. The rest of the clowns cant even make a line let alone 3 lines. It’s just pathetic hockey . Adding heidt isn’t going to move the needle just like k nat hasn’t. I like k nat and think he’s better than Rossi. You can see how he carries himself he’s legit. However he’s stuck with shit wingers the next 4 years. Heidt , my guess is he needs a few years in weight room. It’s crazy we’ve done nothing during Billy’s tenure . Except for embarrassing themselves in playoffs and not showing up for a season. Injuries had nothing to do with this year. The country club of no accountability did. These babies love to go on ir because they don’t care about the season. They care about vacation time and golf time . Billy built an undersized weak team of guys willing to use every excuse they can to not work. They get a hang nail and they’re on IR for the year . It’s all to do with the type of weak players that billy likes . 6 years of Billy and shit to show for it. Others say another 3 years before we see his so called vision. He could have tore down and rebuilt with high end top 10 picks. Not one dimensional undersized weak 2nds and 3rds . His team can barely beat the sharks . What a gm ! 1
MrCheatachu Verified Member
Rossi is 22 years old, and missed an entire year due to myocarditis after getting covid where he though he ask his dad to sleep in his room because he thought he was going to die. He stayed in MN on the offseason to train and missed his sister's wedding to do so. What awesome management that'd be for Guerin. Yes, well excuse me for liking that Hartman scored nearly a point a game for 10 games recently and stepped into a top-6 center role without skipping a beat for the games Ek went down. For all the whining about the injuries and extensions, there are still games where those people are winning games for the team. It isn't just Rossi getting #1 minutes. I didn't see Beckman, Letteri, or Lucchini score those 10 points. Hartman still provides good value even when it seems easy to write him off. Painting each extension with the same brush and saying, "Oooh, our other 3rd/4th lines would do JUST as well, just watch." And then it comes right back to Hartman going, "Yeah. I can still score in bunches when I need to." Kinda hard to write him off as useless with stretches like this. If you want to complain about Foligno's injury woes all season or Gaudreau or Johansson, sure. I get those. But Hartman and Zuccarello are hardly part of the problem here. Each player is different, and helps do different things. They don't help win every game, no, but the team would be a hell of a lot worse now without them. Again, they are trying to win games now, not win them in some far flung mystery future. The Wild went 6-1-3 in their last 10. It's not their fault 2-3 other teams went on tears at the same time. Sorry they didn't want to roll over and die for a slightly higher percentage ping pong ball. There are places for people like Hartman and Zuccarello AND Rossi. I doubt Guerin's going to just give up on Rossi for nothing. Edited March 29 by Citizen Strife
Pewterschmidt Verified Member
Hartman is the ultimate nhl utility infielder. And he’s got some dog in him. Kooz has some dog in him. Give him 15 min TOI and he’ll figure it out. He looks like middle six and pk specialist and that’s ok. Nojo has some kitty cat in him. Fred? Bunny (Get Fred a therapist this off-season, he’s a shell right now Nice extension Guerin) Chisolm is showing flashes at 24 that might keep draft genius bracketts slew of first round can’t miss d prospects down in Iowa Good hands, vision, offensively aggressive, silkyish mitts. Pewterschmidt Verified Member
Foligno was as noticeable as usual last night. that sharks team is Baaaaad. I’m no longer in the tank for draft picks gang. Watching a single season (let alone 3-4) of that product would have me watching basketball in winter. Got to be depressing locker room. All should be playing in Europe #wildwest Edited March 29 by Pewterschmidt 3

FredJohnson Verified Member
Why Are the Wild Thinking About Moving Marco Rossi? Because he hasn't earned the top 6 forward ice time??
FredJohnson Verified Member
I think Rossi is in Freddie and Mojo's way. We need to clear they way for those guys opportunity to shine on the 2nd line. No? (sarcasm 😁 - this crap just begs for mockery)

What awesome management that'd be for Guerin. I think this says it all. All those defending billy need to realize if they do give up on another prospect only to flip for another pick the cycle just continues. This team is stuck in the mushy middle. They need to put underperformed vets in the press box and let talent play. They already took on 15 mil in dead cap what's a few more bad contracts sitting in the box at this point. 1
