Protec Verified Member
STL vs. CGY, that could be a good one for the Flames to win for MN's sake. ARI plays FL & TB for their next two games. Could be good for the Florida teams to win and help the Wild. STL has the Canucks coming up too. Gotta guess VAN will win that game. If the Wild can take care of business against WSH & NSH, there's a path to move up a spot or two.
Protec Verified Member
Nearly identical stats. Lopsided on special teams. Their PK is decent, but the Wild PP has the advantage. Both teams suck on faceoffs. Goalies matchup pretty close too.
Citizen Strife Verified Member
Your daily reminder of Faber for Calder. How is he this good already?
Protec Verified Member
Faber's skating is his biggest asset. He was really moving and ended up all alone with the puck there. Nice little streak of helpers and a goal now too.
Protec Verified Member
Wild need to get a kill and the next goal. That'd be a good place to be early in the 2nd.

Protec Verified Member
First the kill, then the goal to be in a nice spot early in the 2nd.
Citizen Strife Verified Member
That was a bad shift defensively. It was bound to happen.

Sam Verified Member
That between the legs puck drag that Kap does probably only works 10% of the time but it looks so cool when it does.
Protec Verified Member
I was gonna get this in as an intermission rip but got sidetracked. Either way, classic blunder, puck-watching on the Mantha goal. 1

Rohn Verified Member
Kirill ... did you see what Ek did there? He shot the puck. Do that, Kirill. Not up, not in.
Protec Verified Member
Nice pass by Foligno to get the puck to Ek behind the defense. Ek's firt NHL goal was a ripper wrist shot. He's got 20 goals now. Pretty nice. I remember a few years under BB when Ek was projected by many to be a dud more than an elite Swede.😁
