I don't think "circling the drain" is quite how to look at it. In the past perhaps, when MN had very few good prospects. The open roster spots to take are coming up as veteran contracts expire. We haven't been backfilling with rookies though, we have been backfilling with the likes of Jost, Steel, Khaira, Reaves, Deslaurier, Maroon.
