I get (and don't get) the fact they don't want to upset the KK97/Zucc balance in the force, but there's absolutely no reason why Nyquist can't take Zucc's spot on the top PP.

Agreed.  Another in a long line of awful decisions by Dean.

I’ve long been a huge fan of Dean.  He’s got to go after another collapse.  Not only the personnel decisions, but he’s pissed the officials off so much that they’re just giving him the middle finger with some of these calls and non calls.

It most certainly shouldn't be, but the officiating game is very political...and he/the team are VERY bad at it. The Wild always have been though in Dean-O's defense. Ultimately the NHL needs to fix this shit...but it's pretty obvious they're not going to anytime soon, so you have to play that game.

Well maybe next years competitive rebuild will result a first round series win. This franchise is the definition of insanity.

In the Wild's defense/and not in their defense (because they put themselves in this situation), you really can't "competitively" rebuild in the cap situation they're dealing with.

100% this. It's similar to getting pulled over for speeding...you rarely can talk your way out of getting a ticket, but you can sure as hell talk your way into one.

The refs dictate the game way to much for a playoff game.

I ignored him like I usually do. What did he say?

I take it back, he's an ok intermission guy, but I still find myself ignoring him because of his color commentary which generally results in him talking about himself/Alberta during gameplay.

Yeah, if he's commentating, I'll mute or watch a different broadcast.

But that’s what they sell every year.

Do they have a choice? In their defense, they've done a pretty damn good job with a $12mil boat anchor on the salary. I just think people need to take that into account...but not necessarily forgive the organization for the situation they created (with the help of NHL retroactive penalties...shit).

It'll probably be a painful next few years.
